Shift the Focus of Your Attention

Yogananda was a spiritual genius of sorts. As I came across this quote, I found
myself wondering…would it be possible for anxiety, stress, and panic to co-exist
with a smile like that?
I’m thinking NOT. If your focus is no longer on resisting, avoiding, somehow
Changing the circumstances or reforming someone’s behavior.
Shift the focus off the stress in a way that is more than distraction or avoidance.
I encourage you to experiment with the power of the smile. And science tells us
that smiling triggers the brains. chemistrty to activate the relaxation response, and
establish emotional balance and equilibrium.
